Every dog is different, as every person is different, as
every lifestyle is different. No two behavioural
programme's will EVER be exactly the same because of these
variations in circumstances so you can be assured
that your programme will be produced specific to your
situation and requirements. I have twenty
years experience, qualified with distinctions in Advanced
Canine Psychology and am a practising Dog Trainer and
Behavioural Consultant, so all programme's are personally
created by myself, I can supply proof of professional
insurance and run training classes, workshops and behaviour
consultations in my local area.

A
detailed questionnaire will be emailed to you,
please provide as much accurate information as
possible, this will ensure I can make an effective
and workable plan for you and your dog, personalised
to your circumstances and lifestyle requirements.

If
upon receipt of your questionnaire, I require any
further information I will request this by email or
telephone.

Once I have received all the information I need,
your initial assessment, prognosis and
behaviour/training programme will be emailed to you
within 10 working days maximum. (although I aim to
submit within 3-5 days!)

The
programme will be submitted in Microsoft Word
format, if you require a different format, please
advise me of this at the time of application and I
will endeavour to assist.

Weekly support sessions will be set up at a time
agreed between us, these can be by telephone, email
or instant chat. I have hotmail, yahoo and
skype accounts available. Please state clearly
on your questionnaire which format you would like to
use.
I would be
happy to view any links to video footage of problem
behaviours or alternatively if you have a webcam and are
able to initiate the training/problem behaviour, I could
arrange to link up with you and view this footage which
would help to provide an even more accurate assessment.

AGGRESSIVE
DOGS
Regrettably it is not possible
to provide online consultations for any form of aggressive
behaviour as this requires a personal assessment of the dog
and the circumstances in which the aggression is taking
place. Any rehabilitation work with aggressive dogs
needs to be closely monitored and progress recorded to
ensure the safety of everyone involved. I would be happy to
provide a personal consultation for rehabilitating
aggressive dogs please contact by telephone or email in the
first instance to discuss your circumstances.

Nature advocates ONLY kind positve training
techniques. There will NEVER be the use of
physical force, choke chains, lead jerking, shock collars,
electrical equipment, aversive treatments such as water
spraying, throwing tins of stones or banging of loud
objects.
The
common 'pack rules' that are quoted and used by many
trainers and in dog training publications are not advocated
within our training / behaviour programme's. If you
would like further information regarding the reason for this

alternatively there are several recommended books on the
subject also listed on the website.
Our dogs
are taught to learn for themselves using the science of
learning theory and the laws of cause & effect. When
you understand the dog's perspective of a situation and how
his mind works, it is possible to manipulate both, to end up
with the result, you as the owner, desire.

The success of your behaviour / re-education
programme depends on two main aspects - The accuracy
of the information you provide & The level of
committment you make to the programme.

There is no such thing as a quick fix ~ anything
worthwhile requires practise & effort, a well
behaved dog is no exception!!

The contract between myself & you, the client is to
provide information only
-
It
may be necessary to purchase additional training
materials for use with the programme
-
I
make no guarantees that online consultations will be
successful because the advice is given based on the
information provided solely by the client and not
upon my own personal assessment of the dog, it's
reactions to situations and subsequent owner
reactions to the dog's behaviour.
-
I do offer a realistic
prognosis based upon the information you have
supplied, however the accuracy of this prognosis
will be wholly dependant upon your commitment to
carrying out the programme as detailed.
-
Email / telephone consultations are no
substitute for personal behaviour consultations,
they will never be as accurate as a personal
consultation, but in the case of basic
behavioural / training problems can be highly
successful with the back up weekly support that
is provided.
-
I can accept no responsibility for any damage
caused or injuries sustained during or after the
behaviour / training programme. I reserve the
right to refuse an online consultation if I feel
it is not in the best interest of the client /
dog. A complete refund will be given if
this is the case.

No refund's will be given once a completed
questionnaire has been submitted & approved for
an online consultation

In certain cases you may be requested to seek an
examination of your dog by a qualified
veterinary surgeon to rule out the possiblities
of medical reasons for your dog's behaviour.
In these circumstances your programme may be
delayed until the medical examination has been
completed.

You will be specifically requested to email /
telephone immediately me if your dog begins to
display alternate problem behaviours to those
that we have initially discussed. This is
important because it may alter the details of
your programme and must be addressed IMMEDIATELY
in order to ensure the best chance of success
for you and your dog.

Weekly support sessions will be booked in
advance. If you cannot make a session and
notify me 48 hours prior to the booked time, we
can reschedule. If I am not notified then
the session will be forfeighted.

Weekly support sessions will usually last
between 10 - 20 minutes.
